Retired United States Air Force Senior Master Sgt. John Smith, 85, died Wednesday at home.
Private graveside service will be at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
He was born in Alabama April 15, 1932, to the late Thomas and Pearlie Parrish Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jones Smith; two sons; and a daughter.
Arrangements are by Howell Funeral Home and Crematory.
