Raul Peru Hortelano, 42, 1200 Friendship Church Road, Middlesex, died Wednesday at the University of Chapel Hill Hospital.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon in Lander Coe Parlor of Haskins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fremont Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 22, 1974, in Mexico to Heriberto Peru and Tomasa H. Sombredero. He is survived by his wife, Maria Dolores Rangel Velasquez.
