FAYE PITTMAN PHILLIPS

Faye Pittman Phillips, 87, Goldsboro, passed away early Friday, May 26, 2017, at Woodard Retirement Village.
Faye was born in Johnston County May 25, 1930, to the late Stephen Ivey Pittman and Mary Ann Boyette Pittman.
She was married for 63 years to the late Edward Emerson Phillips.
Faye enjoyed life and spending time with her family and friends.
She was a valued employee of the Wayne County Tax Office in Goldsboro for 35 years.
Faye was a member of The First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
A service for the family will be held privately Sunday at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Faye is survived by her sons, Danny Phillips and Tony Phillips and wife, Vicki, of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Mitchell Phillips and wife, Mary Beth, and Rebecca Harris and husband, Will; great-grandchildren, Greyson Phillips, Everly Phillips and Ivey Kate Harris; and sister, Jan Hall.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to Woodard Retirement Village for Alzheimer's Care, P.O. Box 2112, Goldsboro, N.C., 27533.
