Evelyn Benton Hatch, 92, Kinston, died Thursday.
Graveside service will be today at 3 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery, with the Rev. Brad Mitchell officiating.
She was born May 6, 1925, in Lenoir County to the late Jesse Edward Benton and Julia Carter Benton. She was married to the late William Transou Hatch.
She is survived by two children.
Visitation will follow the graveside service.
Arrangements are by Rouse Funeral Home of LaGrange.
