Lynell Martin King, 65, 701 S. Best St., peacefully succumbed to her master's call Sunday in Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 9, 1951, in Wayne County to the late Litmon and Emma Goodman Martin.
Eulogistic services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Alpha and Omega Christian Center. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
She is survived by her husband, Rudy King Sr.; her children, Bardardi Ayers, Rudy King Jr., Reggie King, Randy King and Komar Jones; 12 grandchildren; seven sisters, Dorothy Jean Smith, Patricia Hamilton, Bonita White, Helen B. Battle, Christine Black, Yvonne Sellars and Johnnie Mae Bryant; three brothers, Reginald Bell, Chester Bell and Jimmy Bell; and a host of other relatives and friends
The visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. in Lander Coe Parlor of Haskins Funeral Home.
Mrs. King will lie in state at the church Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., with the family present to receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. The family will assemble at the residence in preparation for the funeral service.
