Lettie Fay Holmes Williams, 77, resident of Mount Olive, passed away early Thursday morning, March 9, at SECU House at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 11, at 7 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive, and were officiated by the Rev. Kelvin Coates, followed by visitation.
Committal and burial will be today, Sunday, March 12, at 2 p.m. in Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive.
Friends and family are also being received at the residence.
She is survived by her children, Bernice Davis and husband, Mike, and Barbara Gail Summerlin and husband, Dwayne, all of Mount Olive, Brent Williams and wife, Amy, of Kinston, Keith Williams of Mount Olive and Susan Williams of Mount Olive, and her significant other, Josh Campbell of Faison; grandchildren, Preston Grantham and wife, Paige, Cole Grantham, Lance Davis, Nolan Davis, Carly Grantham, Caroline Summerlin, Claire Grantham, Catherine Summerlin, Austin Williams, Connor Campbell and Abigail Williams; two sisters-in-law, Marie Holmes of Albertson and Susie Holmes of Dudley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Those preceding her in death include her two husbands, Bruce Price and Wilbur Williams; daughter, Donna Carol Williams; parents, Berry and Lettie Summerlin Holmes; sisters, Dollie H. Lee and Janice H. Hart; and brothers, Leonard Holmes, Edward "Boweevil" Holmes and Willard "Buddy" Holmes.
