COY DEANS JR.
Coy Deans Jr., 79, of Gastonia, formerly of Wilson, died Monday.
Funeral service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Simon Grove Holiness Church, Wilson. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
A viewing will be held Saturday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Carrons Funeral Home, Wilson, with the family receiving friends there from 7 to 8 p.m.
Mr. Deans is the son of the late Coy Deans and Cornelia Adams Deans. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Staton Deans of Wilson, and 14 children.
