Phyllis Carlene Boyers, 92, died Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Phyllis was born in Long Beach, Calif., April 9, 1924, to the late Hazel D. Barr Krauss and Karl W. Krauss.
Surviving are her two daughters, Karen A. Houghton and Leslie D. Brophy both of Goldsboro; two grandchildren, Larry A. Nunn (Coreene) and Jessica L. Nunn; and six great-grandchildren, Taylor R. Nunn, Kaylin D. Nunn, Madison L. Nunn, Adelina M. Nunn, Isaac C. Gonzales and Jared J. Servin.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Keith Krauss.
A private service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
