Funeral services for Annie Williams Hobbs, 87, 606 Longleaf Ave., who passed Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, N.C., will be Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Goldsboro Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, with pastor James E. Collins officiating. Interment will be at Wayne Memorial Park North, 1191 Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro.
She was born in Sampson County to the late Ermon C. Williams and Lucille McLean Williams.
Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home on Wayne Memorial Drive from 5 to 7 p.m.
She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Brenda Hobbs Dozier (Molden) and Janice Marie Hobbs both of Goldsboro, N.C.; one son, Phillip Eugene Hobbs of Upper Marlboro, Md.; one sister, Vera Best Coley of Severn, Md.; one brother, Ervie Williams of Goldsboro, N.C.; one granddaughter, Candace Hobbs of Vine Grove, Ky.; one grandson, Marcellus Hobbs of Vine Grove, Ky.; one sister-in-law, Carrie Dickens of Goldsboro, N.C.; one special daughter, Teresa Hooper of Atlanta, Ga.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
