Melanie Ann McIntyre Holmes, 60, 1905 Maple St., Goldsboro, N.C., transitioned from this life to eternal life July 28, 2016, at PruittHealth of Durham, N.C.
She was born Oct. 23, 1955, in Goldsboro to James (Baby Face) and Dorothy Mae (Middleton) McIntyre.
Her life will be remembered and celebrated Saturday at noon at Donnie La'Grang McIntyre Memorial Chapel, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, N.C., with pastor Thelma Davis officiating. Her mortal remains will be laid to rest in Wayne Memorial Park North, 1191 Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Patricia Edna Mae King and Gloria Jean Lewis; two brothers, Edward Earl McIntyre "Richard" and apostle D. L. McIntyre; also special nephew, Edward Earl McIntyre Jr.
She leaves to cherish her loving and precious memories with two daughters, Quinsha Warren and Carmalniter Eason both of Goldsboro, N.C.; grandson, Juan Whitney; granddaughter, Tatianna Eason both of Dudley, N.C.; brother, Leslie Middleton of Dudley, N.C.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A public viewing will be held Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, from 2 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, N.C.
The family will receive friends at the residence, 205 Randall Lane, Apt. 3, Goldsboro, N.C., where it will also assemble in preparation for funeral procession.
