WILLIS "BILL" JOHN MARSHALL

Willis "Bill" John Marshall, born Aug. 10, 1925, to William and Harriet Marshall, was called home to heaven June 22, 2016.
He is survived by one brother, Kenneth Marshall (Judy) of Kingman, Ariz.; two sons, Gary Marshall (Nita) of Las Cruses, N.M., and Michael Marshall (Darlene) of Goldsboro, N.C.; as well as five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service to celebrate a life well-lived for Christ will be held Thursday, June 30, at 7 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home chapel, with visitation to follow. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 1, at Eastern Carolina State Veteran's Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to Always Compassionate Family Care Home in Fremont or Community Home Care and Hospice of Goldsboro, who have been like family to all of us.
