M. CRAIG QUINN

M. Craig Quinn, Warsaw, passed away Thursday, June 23.

Craig was born July 3, 1951, the son of Reba Sanderson Quinn and the late Milford Roscoe Quinn.

He graduated in 1974 from Campbell College with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

He was married to Susan Craft Quinn July 16, 1983.

Craig spent his career in his family businesses as director of perishables at Quinn Wholesale, and later as president of Circle Q Farms.

Craig earned the rank of Eagle Scout.

He was a member of the Tuscarora Boy Scouts of America Council, member of the presidential board of advisors at Campbell University, member of the board of advisors of United Carolina Bank, president of Warsaw Chamber of Commerce, member of James Sprunt Community College Foundation board of directors, member of Duplin General Hospital board and vice president of the North Carolina Pork Council.

In addition to his wife and mother, Craig is survived by his son, Milford Townsend Quinn and wife, Emily; daughter, Mary Quinn Pruitt; grandchildren, Sallie Grace Quinn and Charlotte Sorrell Quinn; brothers Terry Quinn and wife, Betty, Robin Quinn and Kim Quinn and wife, Michelle; uncle, Gerald Quinn and wife, Rita; and aunt, Faye Williams.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 26, at 2 p.m. at Grove Presbyterian Church of Kenansville, N.C. Burial to follow in Golden Grove Cemetery.

The family received visitors at Duplin Country Club of Kenansville, N.C., Saturday, June 25, from 5 to 7 p.m.
