Kathryn "Kayte" Miller, 26, died Sunday.
Born in Duplin County, she was the daughter of Angel Miller and the late Jerry Miller.
A service to celebrate her life will be announced at a later date.
In addition to her mother, Kayte is survived by her special aunt and uncle, who were like parents, Holly and Teddy Parrish; her children, Gabbi and Jayden; the father of her children, Shawn Hood; grandmother, Myrtle Wilson; sisters, Jessica Joyner and Janisue Taylor; a special sister, Bridgett Kornegay; her stepfather, Donald Merriman; and special grandmother, Martha Merriman.
