Olive Vann Newsome, 86, Midwest City, died April 3, 2016, at her residence.
She was born April 13, 1929, in Goldsboro to Noel and Deltha Vann.
She was a longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church of Goldsboro.
Olive was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bud; son, Jimmy; daughter, JoAnn Jacobs; and two sisters.
Olive is survived by her son, Randy of El Reno, Okla.; son-in-law, Larry Jacobs; sisters, Ann Stewart of Asheville, N.C., and Doris Mullis of Charlotte, N.C.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday, April 9, 2016, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. in Newsome Family Cemetery.
