Freddie Lee Dees, 205 Myrtle Road, Goldsboro, N.C., passed away peacefully Friday, April 1, 2016, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Effie M. Dees; four sons, Lynwood Dees (Judy), Freddie R. Dees, Larry Dees (Phyllis) and Steven Millard (Wendy); six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Holly Hill Church of Christ, 644 N. Beston Road, LaGrange, N.C., 28551.
The funeral is Thursday at Goldsboro-Raleigh District Assembly, 214 W. Hooks Road, Goldsboro.
The family will assemble at the home for the funeral procession at 11:15 a.m.
The public viewing will be 11 a.m. to noon, with the funeral beginning at noon.
The burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to Holly Hill Church of Christ, Beston, N.C.
