Katherine T. Shine, 94, Mount Olive, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Born in Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late Jim Henry Teachey and Lou Bertha Kenan Teachey.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at St. Mark FWB Church, with pastor Anthony Ezzell officiating.
The burial will follow be in Carver Cemetery.
One daughter survives.
The visitation will be today from 3 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home Chapel. The family will be present from 6 to 7 p.m. to receive friends and at other times at the residence.
