Jessie Marie Faison, 85, Lincoln Drive, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.
Homegoing services will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Greater Morning Star Church, 705 Sycamore St. in Fremont. Burial will follow at Hooks Grove Church Cemetery in Pikeville.
Mrs. Faison was born in Duplin County June 25, 1930, to the late Henry and Bessie Leach Jones.
She leaves to cherish her memories three sons, James Faison of Goldsboro (Andrea), Eddie Faison of Texas (Tracey) and Charlie Faison of Goldsboro (Debra); four daughters, Brenda Batts of Raleigh (Barry), Bessie Carolyn Howell of Goldsboro (Robert), Queenie Franklin of the home (who cared for her) and Joyce Hall of Goldsboro; two sisters, Cornelia Smith and Mary Revis of Goldsboro; 30 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other nieces, nephews and other close relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held Friday evening, March 4, 2016, from 4 to 7 p.m., with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m., at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends other times at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Bessie and Robert Howell, 127 Eastern Place in Goldsboro.
Professional services have been entrusted in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
