Died March 1, 2016
Janet Bartlett Dail left her earthly home to be with her Heavenly Father and be reunited with her husband, Steve, March 1, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She lived her life with a strong Christian faith and belief in God that she loved to share with everyone, and there was no doubt in her mind that when her battle with cancer was through, she would be joining her savior in her eternal home in heaven.
The family will receive friends Saturday, March 5, 2016, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service celebrating Janet's life at 11 a.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. David Toulson officiating. Interment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Janet was the daughter of Arlene Bartlett and the late A.J. Bartlett.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Steven Dail; her father, A.J. Bartlett; as well as her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy and Lillie Dail.
In addition to her mother, Janet is survived by her three children, sons, Eric (Rea) Dail and Jeremy (Sarah) Dail, and daughter, Megan Dail; grandson, Jackson Dail; sisters, Ginger (Allen) Mathis and Rhonda (Gary) Sutton; brother, Robbie (Leigh Anne) Bartlett; sister-in-law, Cathy (Stephan) Dentzer; and several nieces and nephews, whom she dearly loved.
Janet was a woman of strong faith, and was a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many. Her wish was that in her life and her death, we remember that God gets the glory for it all.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
