Joy Fordham Gower, 64, Kenly, died Sunday at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield.
Memorial service will be Thursday at 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Micro.
She was born Sept. 10, 1951, to the late Morgan Fordham and Novie Nunn Fordham. She was married to Wayne Gower.
She is survived by two daughters.
Visitation will follow the memorial service at the church. The family will meet at 2929 Glendale Road, Kenly.
