Beth Black Ferrell, 57, Goldsboro, died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016, at her home.
A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, at Culdee Presbyterian Church in West End, with the Rev. Joe Washburn officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall and other times at the home of Harold and Ellen Black.
Beth was born June 14, 1958, in Moore County, N.C., to Harold and Ellen Black.
She was a graduate of Pinecrest High School.
Beth worked for more than 20 years as office manager for multiple eye care facilities, including Carolina Eye Associates in Pinehurst, Family Eye Care in Sanford and Mitchell Eye Center in Goldsboro.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Jack Ferrell of Goldsboro; daughters, Kelli Davis and her husband, Matt Davis, and Danielle Ferrell all of Wilmington, N.C.; a grandson, Chase Davis; her parents, Harold and Ellen Black of West End, N.C.; sisters, Debbie Halverstadt and Sylvia Balboni; and brothers, Keith Black and Kent Black.
