Sallie Matilda Sullivan Watkins, 83, Kenly, died Saturday evening at Wilson Medical Center.
Sallie was born in Johnston County on Oct. 24, 1932, to the late Allison and Beulah Sullivan.
She was married to Howard Watkins, who preceded her in death.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Kenly Funeral Service.
Burial will be in the Watkins family cemetery near the home.
Sallie is survived by five daughters and three sons.
The visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Kenly Funeral Service and at other times at her home.
