Mr. Leslie Jacob "Jake" Martin, 81, 709 S. Audubon Ave., Goldsboro, passed Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro, N.C.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015, at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Church of Christ Disciples of Christ, 700 W. Ash St., Goldsboro, N.C. He will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park North, 1191 Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro, N.C.
There will be a visitation held Friday, Dec. 18, 2015, from 3 to 7 p.m. at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
He was born in Wayne County, N.C., May 3, 1934, to Leslie Martin and Wyona Massey Martin.
He is survived by five children, Robert Leslie Martin, Pamela Elliot, Sandra Francine Martin, Leslie Jeffery Martin and Anthony Dean Martin "Tony"; three sisters, Lossie Whitley, Dorothy Wilson and Lessie Johnson; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
