Monica Antoinette Townsend-Maye, 51, 101 Cambria Lane, died Wednesday at the University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill.
Funeral will be Tuesday at noon Greenleaf Disciples of Christ Church. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
She was born Feb. 22, 1964, in Wayne County to the late Lessie Townsend. She was married to Jaye Maye.
She is survived by three children.
Visitation one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends at the home, where it will assemble for the funeral procession.
