Richard Leon Overman, 47, Princeton, died Monday morning, Nov. 23, 2015, in the University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill.
Born Nov. 10, 1968, in Wayne County, Richard was a member of Tee's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Tee's Chapel Church, with the Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11, just prior to the service.
Surviving are his parents, Richard A. and Carolyn S. Overman; aunts, Arlene Peacock of Princeton and Delores Blount and husband, Jerry, and Susan Bryant and husband, Gene, all of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; uncle, Steve Overman and wife, Muriel, of Havelock; and six cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Tee's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund, 6439 Brogden Road, Smithfield, N.C., 27577.
