Sue Carol Fox Booker, 73, passed away suddenly Saturday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service celebrating Sue Carol’s life at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Sue Carol was a native of Oxford, and the daughter of the late Madelyn Leonard and June Alston Fox.
She was a graduate of Goldsboro High School class of 1960.
Sue Carol retired from Cherry Hospital, and was an avid bridge player at the Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Gerry, and daughters, Elizabeth Carroll Williams and her husband, Danny, of Wilmington and Catherine Carroll Mooring and her husband, Ricky, of Goldsboro.
She is also survived by two grandchildren, Catherine Grace Mooring and Alston Daniel Williams.
In addition to her parents, Sue Carol was preceded in death by a daughter, Meredith Carroll Davis, and grandsons, Zachary and Boone Davis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given in Sue Carol’s memory to the Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center, 2001 E. Ash St., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
