Mr. Gary Davis was born in Goldsboro, N.C., Oct. 5, 1955, to the late Elbert Davis and the late Annie B. McNeil. Gary peacefully took down his tent Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro, N.C., and moved to his eternal home.
Gary was educated in the Wayne County Public School System.
Gary held numerous jobs in his lifetime.
He was a member of The Lord's Table Church.
A homegoing celebration will be held Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015, at noon from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
Viewing will be held prior to the service from 11 to 11:45 a.m.
