Mrs. Mary Troublefield Holmes, 72, 702 Robinson Place, died Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by a son, Jessie Holmes (Georgia) of Woodbridge, Va., and two daughters, Sebrina Holmes of Raleigh and Sonya Holmes of Fort Washington, Md.
She is also survived by two sisters, Joyce Ann Best of Clinton, N.C., and Katie Vann of Mount Olive, N.C.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 318 Denmark St., Goldsboro. Interment will follow the ceremony at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 U.S. 117, Dudley.
A public viewing will be held Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015, from 4 to 7 p.m., with the family arriving to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C.
