Marjorie Beulah Sutton Henry, 87, of Goldsboro, peacefully passed away Monday, Sept. 7. Beulah was born Jan. 21, 1928 in Lenoir County to the late Francesco C. Sutton and Mary Beulah Jackson Sutton.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, George Richard Henry and James Page Henry. Beulah was a woman of unshakable faith and was a bright light shining for her Lord. Always uplifting and encouraging, Beulah never met a stranger, always saw the bright side of life and left a legacy of unconditional love. Beulah worshipped her Lord at the Goldsboro Salvation Army. Her life set an example for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren that will lead them all their lives. Her faith in Jesus and concern for others was exhibited in all she did.

A service to celebrate and honor Beulah's life will be held Friday at 11 a.m. from Rouse Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.

Beulah is lovingly survived by three children, Richard Henry of Cedar Island, George Allen Henry and wife, Kathy of Newport and Mary Ann Henry of Goldsboro; two stepchildren, Samuel Alfred Henry and wife, Nancy of Atlanta, Ga. and Beverly Ann Leidy of Louisville, Ky.; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husbands, Beulah was preceded in death by two children, Frances K. Henry and James Neal Henry; and three siblings, Bruce Sutton, Clifton Sutton and Eula Dail.

Beulah's family will receive friends Thursday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rousefh.com. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, 610 N. William Street, Goldsboro, N.C. 27530.
