Frances White King, 65, LaGrange, peacefully passed away Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015, at Vidant Inpatient Hospice.
Frances was born Feb. 6, 1950, in Clay County, W. Va., to the late Ernest White and Frances Senna Igo White.
She received a degree in history from West Virginia Institute of Technology.
Frances loved trips to the mountains, and especially enjoyed the beauty and sounds of mountain streams.
A homebody by nature, she loved art, making personal cards for those special in her life, and enjoyed arranging flowers.
Frances took great pride in her appearance and pleasant demeanor.
Frances is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Donald Lee King; a brother, James Paul White and wife, Ethel, of West Virginia; a special aunt, Sarah Mae; and a sister-in-law, Norma Jean.
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth, and her beloved cat of 16 years, Blue.
A graveside committal service will be held Monday, Aug. 24, 2015, in Clay County, W. Va.
