Carolyn Jennette Parks, 82, Faison, passed away Aug. 22, 2015, at Goldsboro Assisted Living.
Mrs. Parks was born March 15, 1933, in Wayne County to the late Robert Jennette and Lucy Taylor Jennette. She was married to the late William Gordon Parks.
A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 24, 2015, at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw.
Visitation will follow the service.
Mrs. Parks is survived by son, Gordon Alan Parks and wife, Paula, of Faison; daughter, Brenda Parks of Faison; brother, Robert Jennette and wife, Lorraine, of Goldsboro; sisters, Cleta McLeandon of Burgaw and Naomi Cottle of Garner; special stepgranddaughter, Julie O'Rise; and her sons, Miles and Mason O'Rise.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Hospice of Goldsboro or the Activity Department of Goldsboro Assisted Living.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Community Hospice and the owner and staff of Goldsboro Assisted Living.
