Charles David Landes, 77, Glasgow, died Aug. 20, 2015, at his home.
Born July 23, 1938, in Augusta County, he was the son of the late Joseph Marion and Virginia Lotts Landes.
Mr. Landes was a member of Natural Bridge Christian Fellowship Church.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Nancy Blackburn Landes; two daughters, Debra Landes Walker and husband, Robert Randolph Walker Jr., and Deneen Landes Davis and husband, Lowell A. "Joe" Davis; five grandsons, Robert Randolph Walker III, Charles "Christopher" Walker, Joshua Daniel Mohler, Thomas "Keith" Mohler and Matthew David Mohler; and five great-grandchildren, Robert Randolph Walker IV, Raylan James Walker, Riley Elizabeth Walker, Alexa Danielle Mohler and Eli Keith Mohler.
Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, at Natural Bridge Christian Fellowship Church, with pastor Wes Galford officiating. Burial will follow at Glasgow Cemetery.
Family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, 2015, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rockbridge Area Hospice, 315 Myers St., Lexington, Va., 24450, or Natural Bridge Christian Fellowship Church, 21 Gilmores Mill Road, Natural Bridge Station, Va., 24579.
Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose and Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Buena Vista, Va.
