Linda Kincaid Newsome, 49, Goldsboro, peacefully passed away Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015.
Linda was born July 28, 1966, in Germany to the late E. Marine Kincaid Jr. and Brenda Taylor Kincaid.
Linda was most happy fishing, and nothing was more pleasing than the tug of a fish on the line, no matter the size.
Linda lived her life to the fullest, was a mother to everyone in her neighborhood and loved taking care of her family. Linda loved to walk, enjoyed cooking and liked to watch "The Waltons."
A service to celebrate and honor Linda's life will be held Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. Greg Kincaid officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Linda is survived by her husband of three years, Johnny Mack Newsome; four siblings, Terry Marine Kincaid of Goldsboro, Greg Kincaid and wife, Carla, of Goldsboro, Anthony Dale Kincaid and Teresa of LaGrange and Stephanie Kincaid Fox and husband, Tony, of Greenville; and her beloved pets, Bailey and Max.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Rouse Funeral Home.
