Don Twiggs, 62, Princeton, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2015, at Rex Hospital.
Don was born in Wayne County March 28, 1953, to the late Alvin and Edna Hines Twigg.
He was employed by Deacon Jones Nissan in Goldsboro.
Those of us who knew Don weep at our loss, laugh with our remembrances, and reflect deeply on how much he meant to us.
Don loved shagging, beach music and North Carolina Tarheels, but most of all, he loved his beloved dogs, D.J., Sarah, Princess, Bella and Petey.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015, at 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Bill Rose officiating.
Don is survived by his wife, Cindy Twiggs; children, Crissy Rouse and husband, Reid, of Kinston, Melissa Jones of Kinston, Bryan Twiggs of Goldsboro, Heather Twiggs and fiancé, Ron Lawrence, of Goldsboro and Kelly Dawson and husband, Cole, of Goldsboro; stepson, Bryan Justice of Raleigh; grandchildren, Bradley, MaKayla, Channing, Everett, Emery-Kate, Jackson and Eden-Kole; sisters, Debbie Burrell and husband, Michael, of Chesapeake, Va., and Janet Kearns and husband, David, of Goldsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Alvin Twiggs Jr.
The family will receive friends Friday, Aug. 7, 2015, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
