AUDREY S. HERRING

Audrey Glenn Sugg Herring, 90, LaGrange, peacefully passed away Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015.
Audrey was born May 2, 1925, in Greene County to the late Albert Thomas Sugg and Lydia Gray Sugg.
She was wife of the late Edward Matchett Herring Jr., and was preceded in death by a grandson, Kevin Brooks Herring.
Mrs. Herring was a member of LaGrange Christian Church, and was a lifelong homemaker.
A graveside service will be held Friday, Aug. 7, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery.
Her life revolved around her family, and she is lovingly survived by two daughters, Carol Herring Bartlett and husband, Ronnie, and Florence Herring Smith and husband, Curtis; two sons, Eddie Herring and wife, Myra, and David T. "Chubby" Herring and wife, Paula; seven grandchildren, Matt Herring and wife, Misty, Willie Herring, Elizabeth Bartlett, Barry Smith and wife, Amy, Leigh Ann Herring, Dee Bartlett Cox and husband, Brandon, and Ellyn Smith; and five great-grandchildren, Whitley Herring, Lacey Herring, Mallory Herring, Macy Herring and Ann Matchett Cox.
Audrey was also preceded in death by seven sisters, Mary Beaman, Thelma Aldridge, Doris Sutton, Nannie Sutton, Frances Rouse, Verna Ivey and Ollie Jenkins, and two brothers, Thomas Frederick Sugg and Albert Thomas Sugg Jr.
The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Bartlett, 4235 Ed Herring Road, LaGrange.
