WALLACE W. WOOD

Wallace W. Wood, born in Goldsboro Feb. 20, 1940, died in his home in Queens, N.Y., July 8.

He was a long-standing member of the Screen Actors' Guild and the Actors' Equity Association, and enjoyed a varied career of acting in both stage and film.

His love of acting began at Goldsboro High School in its drama program. Thereafter, he attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and was a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City.

He is survived by his sister, Rheta W. Holt and her husband, W. Seymour Holt, who reside in Indianapolis, Ind.; his sister-in-law, Hulda Wood of Dallas, Texas; and six nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday, July 17, at 11 a.m. at Willowdale Cemetery in Goldsboro.
