Judy F. Black, 71, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Calypso, N.C., to the late Pervy Carroll and Metta Morgan Davis, and was married to the late Otis Leslie Black Jr.
A private service will be held at a later date.
She is survived by a daughter, Lisa Black Capelotti; a sister, Brenda Darden; and four grandchildren, Tyler Capelotti, Kara Capelotti, Andrew Farrior and Summer Black.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Leo Davis and Rock Davis; a sister, Sula Hinson; and a daughter, Lesley Black Sutton.
