Susie Medlin Clodfelter, 62, Fremont, passed away Sunday at her home.
Susie was born in Wayne County May 30, 1952, to Ruby Benson Medlin of Fremont and the late Charlie Grover Medlin.
She had worked as a supervisor at the Wayne Opportunity Center.
Susie was a loving lady, who touched the hearts of many people.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 14, 2015, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church, with a service celebrating her life at 3:30 p.m. in the sanctuary, with Mike Barnes and the Rev. Bob Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
In addition to her mother, Susie is survived by her husband, Gary Clodfelter; sons, Chris Cooke and wife, Wendy, of Clayton, Timmy Cooke and wife, Amber, of Clayton and Jason Bass and friend, Angel, of Goldsboro; sisters, Patsy Howard and husband, Larry, of Erie and Betsy White and husband, Wayne, of Grantham; brothers, Hubert Medlin and wife, Connie, of Fort Pierce, Fla., Charles Medlin and wife, Paulette, of Pikeville and Gilbert Medlin and wife, Billie, of Fort Pierce, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
