LeAnn Michelle Yearwood, 43, Goldsboro, passed away Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
LeAnn was born in Puerto Rico April 10, 1971, to Richard Yearwood of Goldsboro and the late Barbara Ingram Yearwood.
She was employed by Wayne County Public Schools as a teacher at Eastern Wayne High School.
A service celebrating LeAnn's life will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2015, in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with Bill Garner officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2015, at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
LeAnn is survived by her father, Richard Yearwood and wife, Jan; sisters, Susan Phillips and husband, John, of Dudley and Sharon Brown and husband, Mike, of Goldsboro; brother, Steven Harmon of Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of her father, 213 Gator Drive, Goldsboro.
