Bertha Pridgen Thomas, 92, Faro, died Saturday at Willow Creek with her family by her side.
Funeral service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Eureka Cemetery. The Rev. Michele Clark will officiate.
There will be a time of sharing with the family at the graveside and other times at the home of Billy Ray and Melody Thomas, 946 Faro Road, Fremont.
Surviving are her sons, Bruce Thomas Jr. (Jane) of Pikeville and Brent Thomas (Mable) and Billy Ray Thomas (Melody) both of Faro; daughters, Betsy T. Yelverton (Carl) of Faro and Beth T. Kelly (Kevin) of North Richland Hills, Texas; brother, Bruce "Tommy" Pridgen of Emerald Isle; sister, Doris Morgan of Wilson; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Flowers are welcome or the family requests that memorials be made to Eureka United Methodist Church, 128 N. Church St., Eureka, N.C., 27830
