Robert Burke "Bob" Herring, 90, Rose Hill, died at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington Wednesday.
Burial was private. Memorial service was 2 p.m. at Mount Zion Presbyterian Church in Rose Hill Saturday.
He was born in Rose Hill to Dallas Burke and Lulu Southerland Herring May 19, 1924. He was married to the late Ann James Herring.
He is survived by two children.
Visitation will be in the fellowship hall following the service.
