YAVONKA RENEE VANN

As peaceful as a summer's breeze, Yavonka Renee Vann, 53, 105 Autumn Chase Court, Dudley, passed away Wednesday at her residence.
She was born March 13, 1961, in Wayne County to Jimmy and Vergie Brown Vann.
Homegoing services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Elm Grove Church Ministries in Pikeville. Her mortal frame will be laid to rest in Wayne Memorial Park South.
Her memory is forever cherished by her children, Yoshema Vann of Goldsboro, Lemanyelle "Dinky" Vann of Goldsboro, Quantrey "Trey" Vann of the home and Shayvon "Shay" Artis of the home; six grandchildren; and a host of other dear relatives and friends.
Visitation Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m., with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., at Haskins Funeral Home. At other times, the family will receive friends at 1720 Harrell St., where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral service.
