Jack Reid died Sunday at Transition Hospice Care in Raleigh.
Funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Elm Grove Church Ministries, with elder Michael Artis officiating. Interment will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
He was born Oct. 14, 1934, to Wilbert Jack Reid and Fannie Lewis Reid. He was married to Linda Reid.
He is survived by two children.
Visitation will be tonight 2 to 6, with the family present from 5 to 6.
Arrangements are by Hamilton Funeral Chapel.
