Edna Earle Thompson, 88, 133 Benton Pond Road, Fremont, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at St. James Church of Christ Disciples of Christ, with the Rev. Tony Sutton as eulogist. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Wilson.
She was born July 15, 1926, in Wayne County to Milford Braxton and Cora Jane Darring Dickerson.
She is survived by her children.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 to 5 p.m. at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
