RICHARD EUGENE QUINN

Richard Eugene Quinn, 83, of La Grange, peacefully passed away Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014.
Richard was born August 19, 1931, in Huntington, Ind. to the late William Paul Quinn and Fearl Lucy Hunter Quinn.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Carol Rettig Quinn.
He retired from Regal Rubber Products, where he worked as a molding supervisor.
Richard was a man of strong faith and a longtime member of Emmanuel Free Will Baptist Church.
He enjoyed classic Ford cars, golf and fishing.
Richard also enjoyed creating art on the computer and tinkering on small engines.
A man with a kind heart and great patience, Richard cherished time spent with his family.
His life set an example for his children and grandchildren that will lead them all their lives.
A service of remembrance will be held Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, at 7 p.m. from Emmanuel Free Will Baptist Church with pastor Wayne Brown officiating.
Interment will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. from Fairview Cemetery.
Mr. Quinn is survived by a daughter, Cathy Garris; son, Dan Quinn and wife, Diane; five grandchildren, Tony Gaskins and wife, Wendy, Danny Gaskins and wife, Daria, Carey King, Joshua Quinn and wife, Aimee, Danielle Pridgen and husband, Joshua; six great-grandchildren, Nikolas, Elijah, Aiden, Jesse, Daniel and Samuel; along with a special family friend, Allene Hazlette.
In addition to his parents and wife, Richard was preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Watkins; brother, William "Bill" Quinn; and a young, infant sister who passed away at birth.
The family will receive friends Monday following the service and at other times they will be at the home.

Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home in LaGrange.
