John Stewart Barbee, 57, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
No formal funeral services will be held.
He was born in Albemarle, the son of Jean Marsh Brown and the late David Monroe Barbee Jr.
Arrangements are by Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and Crematory.
