Ester Baker Finch, 88, Goldsboro, passed away early Wednesday morning at the Brian Center.
Ester was born in Duplin County Nov. 22, 1925, to the late Jacob F. and Alice Tucker Baker. She was married to the late Donald Charles Finch.
Ester was a member of Adamsville Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 10, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Adamsville Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Ester is survived by her daughter, Janet Kessler and husband, Steve, of Panama City, Fla.; sons, Donald C. Finch Jr. and wife, Janine Murphy, of Pinehurst, N.C., and David Finch of Goldsboro; sister, Doris Evans of Greenville; brothers, Austin Baker and wife, Jean, of Fayetteville and Frank Baker and wife, Priscilla, of Claymont, Del.; four grandchildren, Elan Finch Sullivan and husband, Brian, Elise Price and husband, Tom, Andrew Finch and significant other, Maria Herrera, and Lia Finch Lopez and husband, Raul; and great-grandchildren, Ava Price and Mila Lopez.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
