TIMOTHY JOE FARMER

Timmy Farmer, 52, formerly of Pikeville, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014, in Phoenix, Ariz.
Timmy was born in Wayne County on Dec. 16, 1961, to Frances Tyner Hinnant and Jake Farmer.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
In addition to his parents, Timmy is survived by his daughter, Mitzi Farmer and husband, Josh Brandon, of Goldsboro; his son, Joe Farmer and wife, Karen, of Akron, Ohio; and two granddaughters, Lily Ann and Chloe Brandon of Goldsboro.
He is also survived by a sister, Betty Waters and husband, Mike, of Grantham; brothers, Robert Farmer of Destin, Fla., James Farmer of LaGrange and Billy Farmer and wife, B.J., of Goldsboro; and a nephew, Billy Farmer of Goldsboro.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Richard A. Hinnant.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, in Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
