Nezzie Faison Simmons, 92, Winston-Salem, formerly of Faison died Oct. 16 at The Oaks of Winston-Salem.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Poplar Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Faison, with pastor Willie Alford officiating.
Born in Sampson County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Admiral Lofton Faison.
Two children survive.
Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel, with the family present from 6 to 7, and at other times at the home of Mondrick and Joyce Faison, 11551 Faison Hwy.
