Joyce Ann Chisum Pope, 61, Kenly, died at Johnston Medical Center in Smithfield Sunday.
Funeral was 7 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. George Arant officiating. Graveside service was 11 a.m. Wednesday at Kenly Cemetery.
Born in Henrietta, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Clovis Alton Chisum and the late Gloria Ann Lasley Chisum. She was married to John Ed Pope Jr.
She is survived by two sons and two daughters.
Arrangements are by Minshew-Coley Funeral Home in Kenly.
