Edna Ann Hyatt Forbes, 71, Kenly, died at Kitty Askins Hospice Center Sunday.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Minshew-Coley Funeral Home chapel, with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Wilder Family Cemetery.
Born in McDowell County, she was the daughter of the late Phillip Wayne Hyatt and the late Lucy Waycaster Hyatt. She was married to Allen Ray Forbes.
She is survived by a son and a daughter.
